ISMS予備審査
この２日間、イーカムではISMS(情報セキュリティマネジメントシステム)の予備審査を受けておりました。
大変なのは、私ではなくISMSの事務局メンバーなのですが、とにもかくにも第一関門突破です。今後一次審査、二次審査とチャレンジは続きますが、なんとか成し遂げたい大きなテーマであります。
ISMS認証の最大の特徴はマネジメントシステムの構築にあります。つまり、一定の基準をクリアすればOKという類のものではなく、永続的というか不断の取り組みを要求されます。また企業ステージ、社会的な情勢に伴って、求められるセキュリティレベルが変化(ほとんどは厳しくなるわけですが)していくという特徴を持っています。
したがって「自らが妥当性を考える」というプロセスが必ず発生することになり、まさにマネジメントシステムとして確立していかなくてはならないわけです。与えられた宿題をこなすのではなくて、自律的に発想する。そんな文化を植えつけるためにも、大きな意味があると考えています。
